Spoiled rotten!

Christmas time was coming... so that means Santa pictures. I was surprisingly excited to stand in the line I see ever year... thinking to myself I will never do that!! Never say Never! Cause there I was standing in that crazy line up waiting for a 5 second picture with Santa...
It was perfect... minus the fact she wouldn't keep her shoes on.

Christmas morning was here. I was pretty excited we sat down as a family and opened up our stockings before our busy day started.  Skylar was in an extra happy mood that morning.... She must have know Santa had come

Now that our family morning was over it was time to pack up and drive all over town to see everybody! Both grandparents were thrilled to be able to spoil there first grandchild... and spoil they did :) That's what grandparents are for tho right?? So off to Colins parents house....We got there and the living room was full of gifts!! Skylar didn't know what to do... there was paper flying everywhere! So off she went to relax with Grandpa to open the rest of her goodies. I wasn't long before Grandpa was sleeping... which is nothing new :)
Poor girl had to read her new book all by herself.

After that crazy visit we packed up and then we were off to Nana and Papa's house... My mom had said NO Christmas this year. Now that we have a baby in the family it was time to spoil her and forget about us...lol Thanks mom!!! I looked under her tree and it was a sea of pink!!! So the fun of watching a 5 month old open presents began.... It was a very slow process. The last present to be opened (by my moms request) was in a perfect little box... when I opened it up it was a coat my mom had made...It had parts of the Owl missing and a random gray spots. Now my dad said it was a very tough time for my mom when she was making it... He always new when she messed up... A LOT of swearing always came from the living room :) But it was so cute and she was proud of herself...She couldn't wait to put it on!

Before we new it Christmas was over!!! And a New Year was just around the corner... and i couldn't wait :)
